Why use LED screens instead of LCD screens?

Ans: While these so-called LED televisions are being released for home use, LCD screens are for use in indoor settings, usually for immediate viewing and for use as either televisions or computer monitors, while LED screens are better suited to large screens and for making an effect, while LCD screens are more suited to large screens and for making an impact.

What about LED TVs – are these the same as LED screens?

Ans: LED TV is a somewhat misleading term for these consumer goods, and it just adds to people's confusion about LED displays! In short, an LED TV is not the same as an LED television, and it employs a completely different technology.

The so-called LED television is essentially identical to a standard LCD television. However, specific LEDs are used to backlight the projector rather than a fluorescent tube. Thus, LED TVs are more accurately referred to as LED-backlit TVs.

How about Projection Screens?

Ans: Again, there are various kinds of giant screens. Projection screens are similar to cinema screens because they are a sheet onto which you project a picture. They come in various sizes, but unlike LED screens, they are ineffective in daylight and are mostly used indoors. They also don't have the same dramatic effect as LED displays due to their lower brightness. If you want projection screens, ADI will provide them.
